Although I targeted the cats, I had 4 dropped baits. The fish of the session was a 6lb 10oz tench caught in the margins on a cell snow man chod rig.
I tried the halibut pellet approach but didn't have a touch. As soon as I put a cell on they went nutz for it. I must have had over 50 carp, (from Mon-Thurs) all small doubles. The biggest was a 15lb common in awesome condition. The fish of the session though was a 6lb 10oz tench, a PB.
A very big thank you to Gary & Jan, they made us feel very welcome. The weather was great for the 1st couple of days, then a storm blew in from the NE even making the lake level rise. I had to tackle down early. Cant wait to book next year to catch the cat. Thanks again Gary & Jan for all your help.
